Admitted in Paris Bar and exercised as avocat à la Cour, Me. SONG Liwei has been engaged in the career for about thirty years. He started his career in Coudert Brothers’ Paris office before returning to China, and has successively served at Coudert Brothers in Beijing, Gide in Brussels and Shanghai, Jade & Fountain, Zhonglun and Bignon Lebray in Shanghai. He is currently Senior Consultant of Sunwell Law Firm, he is based in Shanghai for more than twenty years.
He has been engaged for a long time in trade, investment and other businesses between China and Europe/France, providing legal services for Chinese enterprises investing in Europe/France, and European/French enterprises investing in China. He also served as a senior consultant at DFDL Law Firm, which specializes in legal services for Southeast Asian countries.
He is one of the first lawyers engaged in trade remedy investigation in China. Since he represented Wenzhou, Ningbo and Shandong enterprises in the EU anti-dumping investigations against disposable lighters/para cresol in 2002, he has represented dozens of Chinese enterprises in the EU, Turkey, Pakistan and other anti-dumping investigations.
Mr. SONG has been invited many times to speech or lecture to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Federation of Industrial Economics, China Stone Industry Association, International Chemical Manufacturers Association, China European Chamber of Commerce, International Manganese Association, China Leather Association, Xiamen Trade Development Bureau, East China University of Political Science and Law, Zhejiang University, China Chemical Fiber Industry, French Chinese Economic Law Association (AFCDE) under the Paris Bar Association.
